Anyway, this one comes from G-MODE, probably best known these days in the West as the current owners of the Data East catalog. I feel like we’re at the point where most people have all the Sudoku games on their Switch that they need, but you would also think that about Picross and my goofy butt keeps buying those. Reviews weren’t terribly kind for the PC version, but I think it’s more middling than bad. The price is reasonable though, and it may be a bit more interesting for younger players. I like the character a lot and the game certainly has its charms, but it’s ultimately just a bit on the boring side. To do that it will have to make its way through six different areas, solving puzzles and doing some light platforming along the way. This is a game about a robot who is trying to find out why all of the other robots in the world stopped working. Which one will you be? I can’t say for sure, but I will say that if you can afford the extra cost of picking up Shadowverse, that’s probably a safer bet all around for scratching your card-battling itch this week. That said, there seem to be plenty of people who enjoy it just fine. The reviews for this game in its PC form have been mixed so far, with many of the negative reviews pointing out an uneven difficulty curve and some pacing issues. After all, this is a dungeon-crawling card-battling RPG. All you have to fight back against them is a deck of magical cards, but it fortunately should be enough. Some days are worse than others, and I’d imagine if you’re a wizard a day where you accidentally unleash the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse would qualify as a pretty bad one. Well, let’s look at what today has to offer, shall we? New Releases Cardaclysm: Shards of the Four ($14.99) I’ll be diving back into that mess all over again on August 26th when they hit Switch. I’m pretty happy that Spelunky and Spelunky 2 finally have confirmed release dates. We’ve got summaries of all of today’s games, plus a whole bunch of new sales for you to check out. It’s not as good of a list as yesterday, but it’s rare to have days of that level. In today’s article, we’ve got a whole bunch of new releases to check out.
